Terms of Service

By creating a Legacy Tagged account or using the Legacy Tagged service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Legacy Tagged provides digital provenance records for classic and custom vehicles, including a QR-linked public profile, build milestone tracking, media storage, and physical chassis tags. Access to the full service requires a paid annual membership per vehicle.

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• One account per person; accounts are non-transferable.

Memberships are billed annually. The first year of service includes the physical chassis tag; subsequent years are digital renewals at the then-current annual rate ($19/yr at the time of writing).

Payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

If your membership lapses, your vehicle's QR code will display a parked notice. Your data is retained and access is restored upon renewal.

You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, documents, build notes). By uploading content you grant Legacy Tagged a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display that content as part of the service.

You agree not to upload content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent
• Infringes intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Misrepresents the vehicle's history or specifications

Ownership transfers are final once completed. The transfer fee is non-refundable. It is your responsibility to verify the recipient's identity and email address before initiating a transfer. Legacy Tagged is not responsible for transfers made in error.

Gift codes are non-refundable and expire on the date stated at purchase. Gift codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

Physical chassis tags are produced to order and are non-refundable once production has begun. Tags should be affixed by a qualified professional. Legacy Tagged is not liable for damage caused by improper installation.

QR codes are operational for as long as your membership is active. We reserve the right to update the QR code infrastructure, with reasonable notice.

You may not use Legacy Tagged to:

• Create fraudulent vehicle records or odometer misrepresentations
• Harvest or scrape data from the service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent security measures
• Interfere with the service or other users' access

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Legacy Tagged does not guarantee that provenance records will satisfy any particular legal, insurance, or regulatory requirement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Legacy Tagged's liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by emailing us. Deletion does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect.
